I spent a lot of time surfing Alexandria Bay growing up — and let’s just say the waves weren’t the only things that left a lasting impression. Tucked away and only accessible by foot, A Bay has always attracted a certain type: free spirits, naturists, and characters who made the place feel wild in the best way. Nudist beach or not, there’s something beautiful about people being completely, unapologetically themselves. This piece is a tribute to that — the surf, the warm granite rocks, and the unfiltered humans who made A Bay special.
